Cherokee County Jeweler, who lives on ? farm In the Martins Creek section with his wtfe and daughter, GeraldlneRuth, has a pretty good hobby these days - hinting copperhead anafces on his _"HoUy Hill Farm". Mr. Smith has a record when It cornea to killing snakes. This past week ha killed 52 copperheads with two shots from his 12 gauge- gun. The first shot killed a mother nd her 30 yoimg unborn mtd the second a mother nd her 20 unborn. The snakes were killed In the same spot a few hours ant Mr. Smith has seen several other copperheads within a few hundred yards of , All wlthi same location. All within a coigtle hundred yards of Ms home and barn. The Smith's are thinking seriously of changing the name of their farm to "Copperhead Paradise."
